Do you ever get to the gym and are unable to decide/know what to do first? These can be the benefits of a personal trainer. They tell you what to do, what areas to target and so on. They also come up with unique moves for you to do so you don't get bored doing a regular crunch. However, they can be pricey, many starting at $90 a session.
How does spend $1.99 sound? That's exactly what is costs to buy an iPod app. Some of you might not be familiar with apps, especially if you don't have an iPhone. There are some really great fitness ones at the iTunes store that you can put on your iPod and bring to the gym with you or do at home. Some of my favourites include a series that Shape magazine has made. They have an app targetting just your abs, or butt, or they have a great overall workout called Little Black Dress. You get to chose the workout you want to do and it guides you through it step by step. This will definitely help keep you motivated and change your workout everyday, which is the best for your body.
Easy Tips to a Slim Body

Have an event coming up? Need to shed a few pounds? Here are some easy tips from celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson.
- Cut out dairy- Dairy is harder for your body to digest.
- Cut out processed food- try and eat only organic
- Eat fruit every morning- not only are these healthy but they keep you hydrated
- Eat lean protein- white fish, turkey, chicken breast...
- Don't add saturated oils or dressings to your salad- try lemon juice or virgin olive oil
- Limit your carb intake- one cup of brown rice daily is ok
- Avoid sweets- however, if you're craving it you can have dark chocolate
- Avoid salty foods- having extra salt in your diet will lead to water retention
- Drink lots of water and green tea
- Add lemon to your water
Romantic Look

As much as we all like to experiment with different looks and change it up once in a while, we can make many mistakes. And while we might think that we look good others could disagree. It's been said that most of the time when women are getting ready, they are mostly doing it to impress other women. Women notice even the smallest changes on another women, while a guy wouldn't notice if you put mascara on or not. A romantic look is always favored especially by guys. Here is a guide on how to get a natural romantic look.
Starting off with hair:
1) Start with towel dried hair. Spritz some prep in it such as Bumble and Bumble Prep, Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream, etc. Also use a volume spray at the roots. My favorite is Frederic Fekkai.
2) Blow dry hair using finger until hair is fully dry. Then get a roller brush and starting wrapping sections of the hair around it while blow drying.
3) Use a curling iron and begin curling sections of the hair around it, curling the hair away from the face.
4) Spritz hair with some hairspray. Then flip hair over and blow dry on a cold setting for a few seconds. Flip the hair back and pull the curls so they're loose. Then spray hair for hold.
Make up:
Remember that the romantic look is very natural and dewy.
1) Start with the eyes. Try and stick to neutral colors. Start with a nude cream color all over the eyelid. This will hold the rest of the shadows and also create a neutral base for the rest of the colors. I love the MAC paint pots or Trish McEvoy Eye Base.
2) I like to use a cream eye shadow for romantic looks. Nars has some great ones. Cosmic Girl is a great one as well as corfu. These should be applied to the lid.
3) You can then add a shadow such as Cork by MAC. This can be applied in the crease and on the lower lash line.
4)If you want to make the look a little darker for evening, you can apply a darker brown on the outer corners of the eyes. Some examples could be Espresso or Corduroy by MAC.
5) I would recommend using a brown eye shadow for eyeliner so you get a more smudgy look. Top off with mascara.
6) If you wear foundation apply it using the Beauty Blender. The best one for a dewy look is Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. Follow it with a mineral powder just to warm up the skin. If you don't wear foundation just use a mineral powder.
7) Apply a matte bronzer to the forehead, the hollows of the cheek, the jaw line, along the neck, and nose.
8) Apply a highlighter on top of the cheek bones to make them pop out. Also apply it on the bridge of the nose and just above the lip to make them look fuller. A great highlighter is Nars Multiple Stick in Luxor, Copacabana, or Maldives.
9) Apply a cream blush to the apples of the cheek. This will create a natural glow to your face. MAC has greats ones, as well as Nars in Penny Lane. This is a very natural gorgeous color.
10) The lips obviously have to be natural. Choose a lipstick with a gloss that is nude with some pink and bronze in it. As mentioned before, a great lipstick is Estee Lauder's Michael Kors for Hollywood in Honey Blonde. Top it off with Honey Blonde lipgloss.

I thought I'd share an amazing find! Michael Kors has launched a make up line for Estee Lauder. The colors are fabulous and GLAMOROUS!
My favorites include the Honey Blonde lipstick. It is very neutral but romantic. The lipglosses are very sheer so you can match the lipstick with any of the glosses. I love the Honey Blonde lipgloss, but also love the Hollywood Gold gloss for a more peachy tone.
I suggest you guys take a look at these colors especially since they are limited edition. They very fab for people who like a natural look.

Ever wanted that perfect eye shadow or lip color and have searched endlessly through various brands for it? I just have to let you know of this amazing brand I have started using. It's called Giella! You get to custom make your own make up.
Mario Dedivanovic is a huge fan and uses it on Kim Kardashian. He is especially a huge fan of B-Dazzle, which is a gold shimmery eye shadow. It is great for the inner corners of the eye. This eye shadow is combined of 12 different ingredients that all help to brighten your eyes. It is definitely a must have!
Giella is also great if you ever buy limited edition make up. As soon as you are running low of your favorite lipstick, eyeshadow etc. just bring it over to Giella and they will create an identical one for you. Now you will never have to worry about using your favorite lipstick worrying that you will run out of it!
QuickTrim Diet

If any of you follow the Kardashians at all, the word QuickTrim shouldn't be new to you. Recently Khloe and Kim have signed on to endorse this new brand that has various products including a cleanse, an extreme burn, and a burn and cleanse. The extreme burn can make you lose up to 8000 more calories a month. These products are very new so I myself do not plan on trying them until they receive safe reviews.
What bothers me is that for a while Khloe and Kim kept talking about how hard they're hitting the gym and how much weight they lost by going to the gym almost everyday and eating properly. Then out of the blue they said they actually lost weight by adding the QuickTrim diet. I am not sure if this is just a product they signed on to endorse, or if they in fact were using this product the entire time. Regardless, they have both lost a lot of weight and look great!
However, many of their supporters are young women and when they were just working out they sent out a great message: if you want to be healthy keep active! Now they are encouraging everyone to take diet pills. They probably mention this product on their twitter pages at least once a day. Many girls have now turned to this product. In the long run many diet pills can have awful permanent effects such as the potential for dependence and metabolism disruption. If you can eat properly and work out about 5 times a week you will see a difference!! Try it the natural way without pills! BIf you do have a harder time losing weight and are interested in this product I suggest you see your physician before taking it. None of these products statements have been approved by the FDA so please make sure it's right for you if you are considering.
Just thought I'd share my insight on these products since there is so much buzz on them because Kim and Khloe are encouraging everyone to take it.
Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush back together?

Sources say that the two are giving it another try. Kim has recently been tweeting from Houston, where Reggie is at training camp, and New Orleans, where he lives. She was spotted at a charity event last week "Dress for Success" in New Orleans, and reportedly Reggie picked her up after. Whatever their situation is, we really love them together!
Heidi Montag Hair

So I know that many people have mixed feelings about Heidi Montag/Pratt. However, I was just watching an episode of The Hills and realized that she can sometimes have very cute hairstyles. I love it when she puts her hair up in a messy bun, which is a very easy look to copy. If you have very straight hair curl sections in large pieces and then start pinning them back while leaving a few pieces hanging. It's obvious that she has extensions as seen below. Because she is very small I was not a fan of the big hair. But recently she uploaded a picture on twitter of herself having lunch with a friend. It looks like the extensions are out and she looks extremely cute! What do you guys think? xo

Beauty Blender

The trickiest part of doing my make up everyday is applying my foundation. I've tried them all and have tried various ways to apply it. Many of the compact foundations come with a sponge, however, you will soon find yourself wasting half of the foundation while it gets absorbed in the sponge. Same goes for face wedges, they soak up more of the foundation than what goes on your face. Many make up artists will suggest using a foundation brush, which is definitely better than the sponge, however, it does take some skill to apply.
I recently came across the Beauty Blender. I bought it and tried it at home and it worked amazingly well!! You can buy them online at sephora.com You wet the beauty blender and then squeeze out the excess water. This makes the blender moist so that it won't absorb as much foundation and more of it will go on your skin. There are various techniques to then apply it on your face. Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant!! I am such a huge fan of the Kardashians and am so excited for her! She is not revealing to much yet and is keeping the fathers identity private. Although, many are speculating that it is her on/off boyfriend Scott Disick. The two were recently seen dining out with her family for a friends birthday. Watch E! So this past week I watched the premier of Giuliana and Bill Rancic's new reality TV show. It was extremely enjoyable and I will definitely add this to my must see TV shows. They truly exemplify what a modern couple is and how to make long distance work. Not to mention they both seem extremely nice and down to earth. I have admired Giuliana Rancic for many years. She is an incredible news anchor, and also a style icon. I love following her beauty, diet, and style tips. During summer its easy for us to stay tan, but I like to keep than tanned look all year round. My favorite products are by St. Tropez. They make your tan look so real! (Not orange at all). LEMON! The favorite part of my diet. It is such a vital necessity for many reasons, but the main being that it helps your digestion. I’m not suggesting you go on the lemon diet because that can be intense. But rather you can do a modified version of it. To start a light detox squeeze 1 whole lemon into a glass and drink it. Don’t mix it with water! On the second day squeeze 2 whole lemons in glass (again without water) and drink. The third day squeeze 3 whole lemons, then fourth day squeeze 4 whole lemons. After that continue this regime once a month or every 2 months.
Once you’re done with this detox, every morning you should have a whole lemon squeezed with water (tastes much better). This will get your digestive system started for everything you’re about to eat. If you can, sprinkle a bit of cayenne pepper in, or as much as you can handle. This is also extremely beneficial for your digestive system. Generally, I like to use lemon on many things. When I’m grilling some fish, I like to put loads of lemon on with a dab of olive oil. This can make your meal extremely healthy and great for your body!

Here are some of my favourite butt workouts! It's very necessary to work on this area, however, many times we forget. Here is just 5 minutes of exercises designed by trainer to many of the Victorias Secret Angels, Leandro Carvalho.
1. Plie
Minutes 0:00-1:00
•Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, with your arms at your sides, and toes turned out.
•Tuck your tailbone under and then contract glutes.
•Lower body into a pli squat and as low as you can go without allowing your knees to creep past your toes.
•Simultaneously raise your arms to shoulder height in front of your body, palms down. Hold for 2 seconds, then return to starting position.
•After 20 reps, pulse at the bottom for 20 seconds.
2. Touchdown
Minutes 1:00-2:00
•Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointed forward.
•Squat down until your knees are bent 90 degrees.
•Step left leg back into a deep reverse lunge, then placing right hand along outside of right thigh or touching the floor.
•Raise your left hand in front of face, palm facing out.
•Return to starting position and repeat, alternating sides.
3. Explosive Lunge
Minutes 2:00-3:00
•Lunge forward with your left leg until knee is bent 90 degrees, directly over ankle, right knee pointing toward floor.
•Jump up, pushing off the floor with both feet. Switch legs in midair, landing with your right foot forward in a lunge. Continue, alternating sides.
4. Single-Leg Squat with Towel
Minutes 3:00-4:00
•Stand with your feet together, toes pointed forward, arms at sides with right foot on top of a small folded towel.
•Shifting your weight to left leg, bend left knee 45 to 90 degrees while sliding right leg and towel slowly out to the side as far as is comfortable for a count of 4.
•Slowly draw your right leg back to start for a count of 4 while straightening left leg.
•Repeat for 30 seconds; switch sides.

Soft and Silky Skin

The first step to keeping your skin extremely soft is to use an exfoliating body scrub in the shower. There are so many on the market. Some of my favourites are Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish, Bliss Lemon and Sage Body Scrub, Kiehls Ultra Moisturzing Buffing Cream With Scrub Particles. They will get rid of dead skin, leave your skin uber soft, and leave it ready for moisturiser or bronzer.
The next step is to moisturise!!! Very important! Your skin gets dehydrated very fast so its important to lather up. The skin on your body is different than on your face. While we wouldn't puts tons of moisturiser on our face, we would on our body. If you have some acne on your body, perhaps try a moisturiser that is medicated. Some good lines for this are Kiehls, Dermalogica, and of course Proactiv which will give you the fastest results. My favourite moisturisers are Kiehls Creme De Corps (The king of moisturisers!), Bliss Naked Body Butter, Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream, and Fresh Lychee Sugar Body Lotion. If you find that any of these are to thick, each line makes variations of these creams that are lighter. So try switch it up. Maybe use the thicker one before bed and the lighter in the morning. See what works for you, but remember to moisturise every day and your skin will be left feeling soft and silky!
